So this week is called “Integrated Study Week”, because we have a change from the usual programme and the first and second years study a book from the Bible all week. We did all this last year, so it’s been nominally a week off for us; on the other hand, I had a Hebrew exam yesterday so I spent the week studying for that.

I’ve also finished off the first session of the new Web page authoring course which I’ll be giving on Monday. I haven’t done any serious teaching for a few years, so I feel a little bit of trepidation about it.

But this weekend, I’m going away - there’s a retreat in Cambridge for young Japanese Christians, and I’m at least one of those adjectives so they let me come along. It’ll be a good bonding opportunity for us from London JCF, who’ll be there in numbers, and also a good chance to meet up with other friends from around Europe. Truth to tell, I’ve been looking forward to it for weeks…
